PAYMENT PROCESSING

To streamline the process for our clients and minimize administrative overhead, fees are required to be paid at the time of booking either through this scheduling system or over the phone. This ensures a smooth experience and focuses on one thing: your health and wellness . We accept payments via FSA (Flexible Spending Account), HSA (Health Savings Account), cash, check, or credit card.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Therefore, we allow cancellations or rescheduling of appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • Missed or late-canceled appointments (less than 24 hours before appointment time) represent time that was reserved for your care, and will result in forfeiture of the appointment slot.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the integrity of our scheduling system and ensuring equitable access to appointments for all our clients.

INSURANCE POLICY:

At Aveska Wellness, we strive to provide exceptional holistic care to our clients. While we operate as an out-of-pocket provider, we understand the importance of insurance coverage for our clients' peace of mind and financial well-being. Therefore, we offer the option for clients to seek reimbursement for our services through their insurance providers.

Insurance Reimbursement Process:

  1. Client Responsibility:

    • Clients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage, including any out-of-network benefits that may apply to services received at Aveska Wellness.

    • Clients should verify with their insurance provider whether our services are eligible for reimbursement and inquire about any specific documentation or procedures required for submission.

  2. Service Documentation:

    • Upon request, Aveska Wellness will provide clients with detailed invoices and receipts that include all necessary information for insurance reimbursement purposes, such as service descriptions, provider credentials, and applicable codes (e.g., CPT codes).

  3. Submission of Claims:

    • Clients are responsible for submitting reimbursement claims to their insurance provider according to the provider's guidelines and requirements.

    • Aveska Wellness does not directly bill insurance companies but will assist clients in navigating the reimbursement process to the best of our ability.

    • We do not perform prior authorizations for any services provided by Aveska Wellness, or negotiate with the insurance company on behalf of our wellness clients.

  4. Follow-Up and Advocacy:

    • In the event of any difficulties or discrepancies in the reimbursement process, clients are encouraged to reach out to their insurance provider for clarification or resolution.

    • Aveska Wellness may provide support and guidance to clients in advocating for reimbursement, including providing additional documentation or information as needed. Should excessive documentation be required, including the provider’s time, clients will be expected to compensate the provider for her time, at the rate of $150/hour

  5. Transparency and Communication:

    • Aveska Wellness is committed to transparency regarding our billing practices and insurance reimbursement policies. We will clearly communicate any fees associated with our services and provide assistance in understanding insurance coverage and reimbursement options.

  6. Limitations and Disclaimers:

    • Reimbursement for services rendered at Aveska Wellness is subject to the terms and conditions of each client's insurance policy.

    • Aveska Wellness cannot guarantee reimbursement from insurance providers and is not liable for any denied claims or coverage limitations.

FAQs

  • The initial consultation fee of $500 covers a comprehensive health and wellness assessment. This assessment includes an in-depth evaluation of your medical history, mental wellness, and lifestyle factors. Additionally, it serves as the foundation for creating personalized health plans tailored to your needs and goals.

  • The ongoing membership fee of $250/month for 12 months grants you access to personalized follow-up sessions and ongoing support through unlimited text/email. This includes medical consultation, weight loss, mental health support, mindfulness and life coaching. These sessions are designed to track your progress, make adjustments to your health plan, and address any questions or concerns you may have along the way. Appointments can be made up to 6 months in advance.

  • Our wellness membership offers a range of services tailored to optimize your health and well-being. This includes personalized medical consultations, a holistic weight loss program, and ongoing support to help you achieve your health goals.

  • While our wellness membership encompasses a comprehensive array of services aimed at enhancing your health and well-being, there are certain offerings that fall outside its scope. Services such as specialized medical procedures, emergency care, and treatments requiring extensive medical equipment or facilities are not included in the membership. Additionally, it is recommended to have a primary care physician within your network to cover acute care, sick visits, and emergencies including hospital services. However, our extensive primary care experience enables us to provide guidance and referrals should you require such services, ensuring you receive the care you need to support your overall wellness journey.

  • We don’t offer insurance billing at this time. Your flexible spending account and health savings account may be used towards this holistic medicine service. Additionally, in house labs (nutritional and hormonal testing) as well as out-of-network benefits may cover our services partially or completely.

  • Yes, if you are a member, you can purchase additional sessions at any time during the month if you require extra support or guidance in addition to the monthly visit. These additional sessions can be conducted via phone, video, or in-person, providing you with the flexibility to seek assistance whenever necessary.

  • The minimum commitment for the Aveska Wellness Membership is 12 months. This ensures that you have ample time to work towards your health and wellness goals with the ongoing support of our team.

  • The initial consultation fee of $500 is non-refundable but can be rescheduled provided a 24-hour notice. If you would like to cancel your membership, you will need to provide 30-days’ notice prior to cancellation. You can be refunded the number of unused months left in your agreement. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our services. If you have any other concerns or issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team, and we will do our best to address them.

  • Aveska Wellness is a good fit for you if you have come to a point in your life where overall health and wellness need to be prioritized. Nothing in life that is worthwhile is easily achievable without work and commitment. You may be surprised to know that membership fees are comparable to a monthly expense for coffee, gym membership, cosmetic services and “retail therapy.” To practice mindfulness and awareness we can be empowered to give ourselves the gift of sustainable health.
